During the 14th Annual Forum of the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe, held in Cappadocia, the Aeneas Routereceived its recertification.
President Giovanni Cafiero and Fabio Morotti, researcher at IULM University of Milan, also took part in the thematic session on “Innovative and Inclusive Interpretation of Cultural Heritage: Enhancing Public Awareness and Visitor Experience along Cultural Routes and in Cultural Landscapes.”
During the session, chaired by Prof. Mike Robinson of Nottingham Trent University, the short film AIneid was screened — a project sponsored by the Aeneas Route and the result of collaboration between IULM University and the Karma Lab of Koç University in Istanbul.
After the Aeneas Route’s distinguished participation in Cappadocia, which also included Özlem Eryğit representing the Municipality of Çanakkale and Councillor Sergio Ferraro, the next meeting is scheduled for the 2026 Forum in Yerevan, Armenia.
